Instructor: Mr. Connolly This semester course will survey the Hebrew Scriptures/the Old Testament. Students will meet key players such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, as well as figures such as Ruth, Miriam, and Esther. A survey of the prophets will also help students to understand what was expected of a Messiah. An excellent foundation for studying the New Testament. SOPHOMORE SERVICE REQUIREMENT: Thirty hours of service. Religion credit is dependant upon satisfactory completion of the service hours (to be completed and handed in to your religion teacher by the end of the 3rd Quarter).
